I have migraines and reflux as it is and am now 20 weeks pregnant, has increased in severity. You will need to discuss with your provider before just doing something, but I take Zantac 150 x2 per day, morning and night to aid in reflux. Increase your water intake, sounds ridiculous but a gallon of water everyday will help combat both of your symptoms. Eating a multitude of tums is NOT good for you and if not working, don't continue. A spoonful of vinegar will blast the reflux away. To be honest, talk to your provider, letting something continue on is not the way to go. Hope you find this helpful.

I have had the migraines since I was about 10 weeks .. this is what helps me ... I fill the tub with hot water ... put my hands and my feet in it ... this will draw the blood to your extremities and away from your head as im doing this I put a bag of ice on the bsse of my head ... it helps me 95% of the time and its totally natural so it won't hurt baby :)

Gaviscons the best for heartburn and indigestion. Lasts a while and works almost instantly. I usually have the hearburn after meals especially in evening and this works a treat. They usually say the baby will have a good head of hair if u get lots of heartburn! Also try drinking lots of water for the headaches. If they dont improve go back to ur midwife or doc

I have had terrible acid reflux pretty much from the very beginning and now I'm 39w2d. I started taking zantac 150mg when the tums just weren't cutting it anymore. It works the best if you take it on an empty stomach 30-45min before eating and with a good glass of water. Only problem I've had with it is that when it wears off (it will last a good 10-12h like it says it does) my heartburb is worse than ever. Your body can get used to having the medicine to help so I try to just take it if I know having heart burn is going to absolutely inhibit something I need to do....like sleep if the tums still aren't working...trying to fall asleep with that burning is just torture!  Anyway, good luck and I hope that helps!!

Ugh.... Yes. ... both. The headaches are because of increased blood pressure due to increased blood volume.  If you are concerned about your blood pressure you may want to get it checked.  I am 15 weeks with twins and i have constant headaches. My doc prescribed me a couple drugs to help.  Acid reflux is the worst.  My last pregnancy I ate Tums like candy.  Check with your doc- I think you can take just about any acid reflux medications.
