headaches

My doctor prescribed me foricet for my migraines, I've had to take one dose almost every single day. I called to tell them I was running out and they won't prescribe me anything else but since I'm 18 weeks they told me to take 4 Advil just once. Yes right. I'm not going to do that. I'm pretty bummed, its Bern nice to live headache free for awhile. Now I've got to go backto pain which makes me depressed.  Can't  usually keep up with my housework they are so bad, and I can't eat normally cause I get sick. I've tried every hollistic approach to with dealing with this, everything and anything you can think of.  Ug this *****.

I have had a lot of success in the past with yoga. I have also heard about success from others who tried using a supplement based on acai berries. Maybe something you can look at recipes that use those. Good luck in your hunt.

Yea I have. I'm trying to get into meditation to. These migraines kick in quick, within an hour when one hits I can be in some trouble and not able to function. So I try yoga but they come on so fast it doesn't help a lot. I'm about to look into juicing recipes for migraines to, I love to juice so we'll see if that works

I love the way you put that...my hormones are evil. I may steal that. I know you said you tried the homeopathic approach. I was just wondering if you have tried yoga?

Fioricet is mostly Tylenol and caffeine, with a little of one more drug.  My doctor also prescribed me fioricet for migraines. But she suggested trying Tylenol and some tea or coffee first before taking it. Also make sure you are staying hydrated. Good luck.

Oh..was gonna say the Ob may have a better option. Sorry. :(  The bright side is hormone changes during pregnancy may decrease the severity. Fingers crossed for that.

That's who I talked to my ob. I don't know any other doctor I can call. Actually the other one I used to go to wouldn't prescribe anything for headaches.
