37+6 and not dilated a bit! I could cry!

My doctor says Im 4 days behind where I am so she doesnt share my concern. 4 days is small I know so it's not a huge deal ..She said I it feels like the cervix "may have softened and thinned out" may have?! May have!!?????! Is it or is it not?! I am racing the clock here because my hospital doesnt induce after youve had a c section. My boy already measures in the 90th percentile at over 8lbs. (My last was 9lb 5oz). I measure 41 weeks today! The longer I wait,the bigger this baby gets and the likelyhood of my vbac goes down!
I am stressing hardcore.

Also,later today I have an anethesia consult for if I end up needing a c section (1 csection,1 vbac...this is the tie breaker). Apparently I am so fat that I need to go in and talk to these people about the trouble with fatness and anethesia!
I am 5ft 8 and heavily pregnant 260lbs. I was 220-230 before getting pregnant, I honestly cant remember. I am a little pissed off about being told Im "class 2 obese" when I dont even wear plus size! Im a tall,busty,solid woman! Ughhh! Yes I could stand to lose a few lbs but sheeeesh!
Anyone else needed to do this?

Yeah! My dr was like....and you DIDN'T have gestational diabetes?? Like she was shocked.

I'm 5 ft 5 and currently 207 but per baby I was 197 and I haven't been told I need to do that but I'm just about 19 wks so maybe they will. Its so hard to be bigger when your pregnant. Last week I had an appointment and the stupid nurse practioner spent the whole visit telling me that I'm GOING to to have gestational diabetes because I'm fat so I should only drink water and have only lean meats and veggies... no starches or carbs at all. It broke my heart because I eat really well and actually lost 60 lbs between my pregnancies and she made me feel like all that work meant ****!!! I feel your pain. Good luck and I hope he comes soon and naturally for you :-)

I was in labor with both my boys for 7 days each i couldn't get the induction to take for them. It is scary and it does pass you off when you don't have the answers. And i am a bigger girl and never was told that i was to big that i should gain more my boys took alot from me making me lose weight now i am on my third bundle of joy. But I wish you luck chin up.

Thanks! I got my last ultrasound yesrerday for measurements and tech said he's in position and weighs 7lb 4oz and he said he thinks ill be making it to 40weeks because baby isn't to big i hve GD so they won't hve to induce me early

We share the same due date im getting checked today to see if I've dialated any I'm nervous because i always have trouble dialating and my labors take so long! I have natural births but i feel ur pain i would be scared also especially since you dont want another c section! I'm.crossing my finger that I've dialated atleast a bit!

I wanted to add.... she mentioned a hospital about.a half hour away that does induce after vbac. I could go there. But I have spoken to a number of women who have had to have csections after induction...it almost seems like inviting what Im trying to avoid
