Eliminate fried foods & tomato sauce. When you do try to sleep try prop your head/shoulders with extra pillows to elevate. It helps me. Ive taken walgreens comfort gel. Tastes horrible but helps. Also carry alkaselter heartburn chews which help.
Is there anywhere near you where you can buy some papaya? I'm not a huge fan of papaya, but I've found that snacking on it throughout the day really helps. Also, try tums, don't drink liquids while eating, and don't lay down for awhile after you eat/drink.
