feeling discouraged....

I will be 40 weeks on Friday and have been dilated for 3 weeks, lost my mucus plug a week ago, had an ultrasound today and baby is measuring about 9 lbs. I have been having contractions but nothing consistent, can't sleep and now starting to feel nauseous again... I don't know if my body can handle much more... just needing some words of encouragement.. maybe some stories of your labors to get me excited again?

This is baby #3 and the last one for me, I have tried walking, stairs, pineapple, squats, birthing ball ect. Haven't been able to have sex because I am to uncomfortable and the others I have to limit because I m recovering from a broken ankle. Going to talk to my Dr tomorrow to see if she is willing to do a membrane sweep but I have never had that done before so a little nervous about the unknown. Also I should include my first 2 kids were induced on their due dates but I did not feel all these pains with them, I hurt so bad (mainly in my hip joints) that I can barely walk....

I went 42 wks with my first, my water broke and i was ready to push by tbe time i got to the hospital. Hang in there mama, your baby will surprise you before you know it =). Why not try having sex, doing squats, walking and nipple stimulation?

I'm 40+2 and I was feeling like that the closer it came towards my due date. I really don't want to get induce but I realize that everything is out my control I only can do things that I can control like making sure I'm active and not letting my emotions get the best of me. I also realize that my baby will come when he's ready. I believe the timing puts women on edge and we forget to embrace our last moments of pregnancy. I had to learn to let go and not worry so much. Everything happens for a reason and the reason is always for the best.
