heartbeat and gender prediction

My baby's heartbeat was 136 at 12 1/2 weeks. Does anyone have any "guesses" as to gender based on heart rate? I'm not sure if the old wives tale holds true.

My gut says boy. I also had a dream she was a girl. But now I'm second guessing myself lol

My son's heartbeat was always in the 150's range.

All my girls heart beats were on the low side my sons heart beat was always higher! I would guess a girl from my experience....keep me posted to see if it is a girl(:

There are actually little quizes online that are fun to take. Just Google 'what is the sex of my baby quiz' and you'll get lots of them. Obviously, all of them are based on old wives tales but they are fun to take. Coincidentally, every one I  took said I was gonna have a girl and I am in fact having another little girl. So Maybe there is some truth to the wives tales after all. Lol.,. Of course I still took it all with a grain of salt and it was just for fun but it was pretty cool to get the same answer from all of them and they ended up being right. Lol

It is an old wives tale. My daughter was 160. My son was 164.

My baby's heart beat has been between 140's-150's range.im having a girl by the way.

First time we had an appointment my baby's hearrbeat was 172. Sister in law swore up and down on this wives tale and said girl. Next few appointments it was high, in the 150's. We are having a girl lol.

According to the tale it's a boy, but remember, it's just an old wives tale and is only right 50% of the time!

The old wives tale I believe is 145 and higher is a girl 140 and lower is a boy something like that but it has no correlation my little ones heartbeat was 164 and I'm having a boy

Kinda all over so I don't believe it can tell you the sex.
