Leaky nipples? Already?

I'm 18w3d and noticed colostrum leaking this morning in the shower. I'm not worried, and know it was probably from the stimulation of the warm water, but I'm just curious if any of you started leaking so early.

Also, I'm 18 weeks with my second and have not leaked at all. But with my daughter I'd just have to feel her move and think about her and it would come pouring down. I've Felt This Baby Move earlier than I did with my daughter and I haven't had the same reaction. Every pregnancy is different.

I leaked enough with my daughter to wet my shirt starting around 14 weeks. I breastfed her for 16 months. I thought my milk would be there right after birth since I had so much leakage. But my milk didn't come in until 5 days after birth. I never gad any supply issues, but I never had an oversupply either. I didn't pump though and that could be why. Leaking or not leaking during pregnancy is not indicative of your ability to breastfeed though.

Glad to hear I'm not alone. Lol My morning sickness came back last week too, so it just makes me think I'm having a surge of hormones.

Jaloves, sorry to hear it. :/ I guess some women have it easier than others and I shouldn't complain. :)

I'm sorry I have not experienced this but it seems like I'm the odd ball out, I was never a strong milk producer either in the year + I nursed, so it seems like a good sign for you ladies.. I sort of wish I had thought of your posting title as my screen name on here.
