Oh, isn't it the worse? My best advice is to avoid the foods that make it worse, acidic stuff like sausage, spicy foods and those that contain tomatoes (for me even lettuce!) Tums are an option to get you through the tough times. Drinking water and eating bland foods help, but the only real relief is delivering your baby, it's just a part of even some of the healthiest pregnancies. Some women sleep in a partial elevated position or sitting up in a recliner or similar chair for relief at night.
Honestly. . I just woke up out my sleep because of heartburn. .. take a tablespoon of mustard. . You feel the heartburn going down, and it's instant relief. .. going back to bed

Milk and ask ur doc there's a prescription now mine works great but sometimes the doc doesn't give it!
