Its kind of what it sounds like, its a burning in your esophagus, also acid from your stomach will inevitably come into your mouth. It tastes nasty and it hurts. I've gotten to the point, at 35 weeks, where nothing helps anymore. If you do get it talk to your provider they will often prescribe something hinges thats safe for bub.
Like you have stomach acid in your esophogus.
