heartburn=full head of hair?

Is there really any connection between having a lot of heartburn and having a baby with a lot of hair??

So not true I had heartburn throughout my whole pregnancy with my son he came out bald headed I mean bald head black baby..

It isn't just a wives tale... a wives regarding the amount of hair is if you see a mouse (which I did) while pregnant... there actually is a correlation between heartburn and a lot of hair... I had heartburn my 1st pregnancy and my daughter came out with a full head of hair... this one I have constant heartburn too and am sure she will come out with a full head of hair too

It is not just a wives tale there is something between heartburn & hair don't remember what but u can Google it. Didn't have it w first son he was almost bald had a lot w second son but he didn't have much this time a girl and I have had it 2 m and counting hope she has a full head of it:) Due July!

So far everyone I know whose had heartburn had babies with heads full of hair and the ones who had none or very little had babies either had babies with no hair or only a dusting of hair. My sister hates that I always get heartburn with my kids and they always come out with a ton of hair and she has never gotten a bit of heartburn and hers comes out with no hair.

It's MOST Definitely True for me. My first pregnancy I had heartburn since day 1 lol my girl came out with hair so curly and thick it was ridiculous! Baby #2 no heartburn little to no hair lol. And I'm 28w and I haven't had any so far so we'll see.!

I literally felt like I could breath fire with my first daughter and she came out the 4 in long hair she wore pigtails at 2 mo and I'm only 20 weeks with bby girl #2 and I've had heartburn for everything I can wake up and not have eaten and have it! This was the one thing I could have done without buy I'd rather have a bby girl with tons of hair then bald! Lol

Nope, just an old wives tale. I had bad heartburn with all of mine and they had some hair, but not a lot.

I know it's just an old wives tale but with my first two I had horrible heart burn and both were born with full sets of hair a inch or two long. This time I don't have it near as bad so will be interesting to see what he is born with. My first son also had white blond hair where my second had dark brown so who knows what this little guy will have.

Iv had the worst heartburn, & at 30w I had a 3D ultrasound and she couldnt believe how much hair he already had, so I believe it.

I had heartburn pretty much everyday from 15 weeks on until 39 weeks when I had my second son and he did not have very much hair it was maybe like 1/2 an inch long but thats it

That's false the heartburn is caused by the relaxing of the smooth muscle in the stomach and the looseness of the ligaments around the stomach that connects the esophagus which cause gastric acids to travel up to the esophagus. Hairy heads is a myths. .

It is scientifically an unproven old wives tale. But was true in my first pregnancies case.
