I looked up online fppds that are good for production and make sure i drink lots of water. Since ive changed my eatig a little, i've got double the milk when i pumped (for backup milk). And i agree with the supply and demand. The more baby tried to get it, the more you should eventually produce. Just keep at it every 2-3 hours, even at night.

I was talking to this lady when i went to my u/s n she told me that when she had her triplets she never produced that much milk she was only able to pump an ounce if that so there r some women out there that can't produce any milk n that was the first time i've heard of it.

There's an app called Breastfeeding Solutions that's really good, ************ has good info or look on lelache league's website to find someone in your area to call. Breastmilk is supply and demand though, if you are giving formula, that's fine but make sure you have a good pumping session while she eats to stimulate production.

Oh good job... please stick with it, you will be so glad you did! I was 22 with my first and it took 4 days!! For my milk to come in. I was pumping as well, they said it would help it come faster, it was bone dry. I fed her formula from a syringe Bc i was so worried about nipple confusion. But it all came together on day 4 and nursed for over a year after. Good luck! Congratulations!

Sometimes it takes longer for milk to come in. Is there at least colostrum?

Is she constantly crying for food. If nothing was coming out she'd be starving. You should call the hospital or if you're there ask a lactation consultant.
