My GD test and urine test came back all normal today and the doctor said that pre-eclampsia would have come up as high protein levels in the urine so I am happy that everything seems to be normal.

I hope your little one is doing well and that you are recovering okay :)

Im 19 weeks today and I've just got back from being away on holiday, I had terrible swelling on my feet and ankles so went to the doc. He said that because I was walking around lots and being in the heat that I just needed to raise my feet slightly above my body and rest, my feet keep looking like they are going back to normal but then swell up again. I have my second scan in a few hours so I'm going to ask the midwife for some advice as I'm a first time mammy and worried.

Did you have any other warning signs besides the swelling?  I've noticed my feet swell slightly at the end of a work day after being on my feet for 8 hours. My blood pressure is good and I'm waiting on my results for GD. So just curious.

Hi, my feet began to swell up earlier than yours! My bp was fine though but it turned up I had gestational diabetes. Your glucose test should be any time now, good luck with that too!
I have no swelling at all now that my gd is under control! So check with your doc cause swelling is definitely not good.

Basically, u need to stop and avoid ur salt intake.
U need atleast 15mins walk everyday.
While resting or sleeping, support ur legs with pillows.
Thats about it.

Call your Dr and let them know what's happening.  That BP is definitely high and not to be messed with.
