skin so itchy ive tried lotion and i still itch its grossing me out to b constantly itching! start itching around belly breast arms legs it drives me insane anyone ecpirencing this?? no rash 31 weeks prego

Oh yes my belly, breasts, ribs, legs, feet, & hands drive me crazy! I use cocoa butter it helps a lot!

Its called colostasis (sp). A friend of mine was just diagnosed with it.  Can be harmful for mom and baby. They give u meds for it but theyre not good for the baby. They ended up inducing her at 33 weeks to get the baby out of harms way and try to get her levels back. Get checked out asap

oh yes i know the feeling I was almost in tears I was so itchy i put on lotion about 3 times it didn't work so put on some tea tree oil that helped a lot...plus my skin feels so dry sometimes to the point i feel like it's going to crack and blood even after i put on lotion like 2 times

I had it bad in early pregnancy, tried a ton of lotions until I found one that worked. Do mention it to your doc. Later in pregnancy it could be a sign of a complication.

I am in the same boat.  I mentioned the itching to my Dr and I have to go have blood work done tomorrow.   I would mention it to your dr .

Just a thought but have you mentioned it to your doc? There is a condition in pregnancy I think its to do with your liver not functioning but it makes your skin super itchy and needs to be dealt with quickly. Maybe try googling it? And ring your doc just to be on the safe side x

Vitamin E oil and then cocoa butter on top.  Keeps me soft and less itchy all day

Try alcohol...it refreshes and takes the itch away
