Raspberry leaf tea just tones the uterus, it doesn't kick start labor. I have been drinking it since 20 weeks... Also green tea isn't good since it inhibits your body's absorption of folic acid so its best to avoid it in the first trimester and maybe limit it to one cup a week later on. Hibiscus teas are not really considered safe, and stay away from anything with blue or black cohosh until term because they can cause miscarriage. If you have concerns ask your Dr. Most herbal teas aren't studied in pregnant women so safety hasn't been established but basic ones like ginger, chamomile, and peppermint are fine and can help with morning sickness.
Just stick with the common ones like peppermint, limeblossom, chamomile, green tea, jasmine etc these are fine. Anything with the raspberry leaf in avoid until after 38 weeks because it's very good with kick starting labour naturally. If in any doubt speak to a health expert.

Great article to read. :)
Actually some green teas are safe, all depends on the brand and what else it may contain. No diet teas!! No weight loss teas!! Stay very far away from these...lime blossom, anise, rose hip, catnip, ephedra, comfrey, European mistletoe, hibiscus, horehand, labrador, lemon grass, licorice root and mugwart. These are potentially dangerous and not worth taking a chance on!! Also check online at American Pregnancy.com. You will find it very helpful choosing a safe non-herbal and herbal tea. :)
Avoid raspberry leaf and hibiscus teas, especially in the 1st trimester. However many people use the raspberry leaf tea at the end of their pregnancy to spur on labor lol
Most are okay but green teas are a no no
Cold, sleeping, and relaxing.
That honestly depends on what exact herbal tea your wanting to drink, some are off limits and some can be successful in helping with common problems such as, a cold, pain etc. What kind are you wanting to indulge in?? :)
