herbal teas

My doctor said not to take any herbal supplements. I will ask at my next appointment but does anyone know if this includes herbal teas? Ive been having trouble sleeping and wanted to try Celestial Seasonings SleepyTime herbal tea but was hesitant.

Okay I will definitely ask my doctor about that before I try either one then. Just want to be safe. Thanks!

Most herbal teas contain multiple herbs in high concentration. Things like chamomile, ginsing, nettles, dandilon, pennyroyal, & aloe can cause issues during pregnancy. Chamomile has been connected to early labor and contractions. Peppermint & ginger tea are both safe & can help relieve heartburn & nausea.

I'm drinking that sometimes, my Dr told me to drink chamomile tea and I saw that and I bought it, but I just had it once just in case, I bought chamomile tea and it helps me a lot, so try that, I know chamomile is safe to take, but ask ur Dr first
