high blood pressure and protein?

So i went for my 36 week check up yesterday and my blood pressure was high and i have protein in my urine. The dr didnt seem concerned.  What does this mean?

sounds like pre eclampsia but doctors know best n need to trust them all depends on how high blood pressure is. I had pre eclampsia with my first. They just keep close eyes on you. good luck.

I just had the same at my 34 weeks so she just moved me to every week a lil earlier than normal just to keep an eye on me. I had problems with my last pregnancy with this last year so the Dr takes it very serious. Had him at 37+3 hopefully everything goes smoothly and she stays in a few more weeks.

It could mean preeclampsia.... Did you have to go for bloodwork? Are your hands or feet swollen?
