high blood pressure

I went to see my Dr today, and will be 30 weeks in 1 more day! She did say that I had high blood pressure today however, what causes that and is it bad like cause problems with birth? She felt my babies head and its head down low. Does that mean labor is coming soon?

Not trying to scare you... but it can be bad. I had high blood pressure and ended up having my son on the 4th and i was 31 weeks pregnant and my high blood pressure came out of no where. They couldn't get it under control so they had to do a c section. I had preeclampsia. But it very well could be nothing to worry about but try to not stress out and dont drink a lot of caffeine. But even though i had him early he is doing ok. Again I'm not tying to make you worry i just wanted to share my story.

If you have a lot of swelling the high blood pressure becomes an issue that will need your Dr. Otherwise try not to stress because that'll just make it higher.

High blood pressure can be bad however if this is the first time it's been high don't worry to much. Try to take some you time to rest and relax it may bring it down.

Just means baby is in the right position. Also sometimes the blood pressure thing is due to the pregnancy.  Keep it monitored. Im sure everything is going to be ok
