Hip rotation on exercise ball and pelvic tilts really help with tge pain as well
i also have scoliossis but the doc says thays not causing it but j fell when i was five months prego with my 2 1/2 year old and ever since its been bad on my hip... bit they dnt know whats wrong
Ooh yes! I second the yoga. I did yoga from 15-30 weeks & water aerobics as well. Definitely two thumbs up to that suggestion.
Chiropractor can do wonders... I started going to a chiropractor when I was getting non-stop migraines while pregnant with #2 (she is now 2 1/2). It didnt help much for the migraines, but worked great on my back. He had even shown me a technique the my husband could help me with at home without laying on my preggo belly. I've found that yoga is also extremely helpful!! Or even just good fashioned stretching, especially for back, hip and neck pains.
My hips kills me to ...where I be limping....I have to switch sides as night to...just all come with pregnancy. ..good luck ladies...7 more weeks for me, and ill b meeting my princess
I had a similar experience with the chiropractor countrymom and it definitely helps my hips and lower back... it doesn't completely take it away but it makes it tolerable
I found out my pain was because my body had been crooked. I had had severe lower back pain & hip strain for over 5 years. Then he told me that one shoulder was higher than the other and I had some misalignment from whiplash in 2004! I didn't even tell them about my whiplash & the guy was able to tell just by looking at and feeling my spine. Allll that affects your entire spine.
I had that too. I stuff a pillow under my belly and constantly have to trade sides in my sleep. I ended up going to the chiropractor at 33 weeks and I was like "wtf? Why didn't I go before?" It did wonders for the aches & pains. I'm 39+5 & just went again to the chiropractor to open up my pelvis (webster technique) it felt amazing.
Check with your doctor & see if he or she recommends an adjustment.

its been hurting for over a year i do admit its worse now that im pregnant but still dont know whats causing it i feel like my hip bone is like fractured or somethin but doc say im fine they wont listen to me
I do too. It's just your baby down there on your pelvic bone. Try pillows between your legs. A warm bath. And a heating pad. Im in the exact same position. My hips even pop when i turn over in the middle of the night...
