Ooh yes! I second the yoga.  I did yoga from 15-30 weeks & water aerobics as well.  Definitely two thumbs up to that suggestion.

Chiropractor can do wonders... I started going  to a chiropractor when I was getting non-stop migraines while pregnant with #2 (she is now 2 1/2). It didnt help much for the migraines, but worked great on my back. He had even shown me a technique the my husband could help me with at home without laying on my preggo belly. I've found that yoga is also extremely helpful!! Or even just good fashioned stretching, especially for back, hip and neck pains.

I had a similar experience with the chiropractor countrymom and it definitely helps my hips and lower back... it doesn't completely take it away but it makes it tolerable

I found out my pain was because my body had been crooked. I had had severe lower back pain & hip strain for over 5 years.  Then he told me that one shoulder was higher than the other and I had some misalignment from whiplash in 2004! I didn't even tell them about my whiplash & the guy was able to tell just by looking at and feeling my spine.  Allll that affects your entire spine.

I had that too.  I stuff a pillow under my belly and constantly have to trade sides in my sleep.  I ended up going to the chiropractor at 33 weeks and I was like "wtf? Why didn't I go before?" It did wonders for the aches & pains.  I'm 39+5 & just went again to the chiropractor to open up my pelvis (webster technique) it felt amazing.

Check with your doctor & see if he or she recommends an adjustment.

Google pgp - pelvic girdle pain.this affects ur hips and buttocks when pregnant also look out for spd symphious pubis dysfunction, this pain affects ur pubic bone and joints, groin area. I have had spd since 20 wks and pgp since 32wks and im in bits.i have to wear a maternity belt and use crutches when getting around. Limit all activities including using stairs or driving.wear silky pjs to slide in and out of bed easily. Rub vicks vapor rub in hips before bed, this should relieve the pain and read up on everything to help u with pgp.

I do too. It's just your baby down there on your pelvic bone. Try pillows between your legs. A warm bath. And a heating pad. Im in the exact same position. My hips even pop when i turn over in the middle of the night...
