horrible heartburn

Hi ladies, I'm 36 weeks (37 this sunday) and although I've had heartburn my entire pregnancy, it hasn't been bad and I've been able to control it with alka seltzer relief chews once in a while when it happened...lately it's become horrible!!! My throat feels like it's on fire almost all day long...any suggestions on what to take or what to do? I avoid lying down after meals and if course any irritating foods, but it's constant and nothing helps!!!

I'm 37 weeks preggo & I've had heartburn since the day I found out. I take the v chewable peppermint tums at least 2 three times a day. They seem to be the only thing that works for me... hope this helps you out! :-)

I'm 25 weeks and have had heartburn since week 13. I use Zantac. Target brand is Ranitidine. I take two every day. My doctor told me that was fine. If I don't take it the heartburn is so bad I vomit. I hope you find something that works for you. I know how miserable it can be.

The same thing was happening to me & I told my dr about it. He gave me a prescription for a heartburn medication and it has really helped me a lot.
