I have my stuff in a bag and my diaper bag
I have a diaper bag packed and a hospital bag packed. this is r first baby and my fiances sia is a photographer so we brought an outfit for pics for each my fiance his mom his sis and his dad and shes gonna go home in the outfit her daddy picked out. i told her she could do pics at the hosp bc she wasnt doin them when we got home when my fiance and i wanted to have bondin time and to sleep. The only reason i packed a diaper bag is bc my fiance his mom uncle and sis were all allergic to pampers so i packed diff diapers.
MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE KIND OF PACIFIER YOU WANT YOUR BABY ON!!! Lol. I found that out with my first one. Hospital uses these weird looking one that are pretty hard to find. And after 2 or 3 days the baby is used to it and wont take anything else.
I know i always pack more then one baby outfit because my kids are dressed after their bath lol. Idk if its just me but i dont like just the diaper n shirt the hospital has so my kids got put in pj's right away. I know my hospital doesnt mind parents dressing their child. Just something to think about. :) and i would have alot of spare space just for all the things you get sent home with
I always packed in a suitcase that was twice what I needed. That way I have space for all the things the hospital sends you home with plus the stuff friends & family bring you. :)
Nope, bring a big bag for yourself and put the few things you'll need for baby in there. The hospital will provide most of what they need so probably just a going home outfit and a blanket will do for him/her. It's good that you're doing this now. We went really early with my first and didn't expect to be admitted so I had to constantly send my husband out to get me things.
I guess if you wanted to and could fit things well enough in it you could use the baby bag. Otherwise use just a regular travel/luggage type bag, or at least that's what I'll be using. A duffel bag one that has several outer pockets, and a huge space on the inside is a good thing to have, I'm going to be shoving all my stuff into the one I have.
