Tryin again

Three weeks ago  I gave birth at 23 weeks pregnant. My daughter only lived two days. But I want to start trying again. Is it too soon and has anyone else gotten pregnant within the 6 weeks after giving birth.

Forgot to mention that I have two fibroid tumors and I'm afraid that within the next 5 years I will have to have a hysterectomy. My older sister went through the same thing.

I've heard it's easy to get pregnant again after a miscarriage because the hormones in your body are are still quite high and that can cause you to be extra fertile. I think it's important like everyone has said that you feel ready. It's not an easy thing for you or your body to go through

Hello sweety, im verry sorry for your loss... I also agree and think you must make time to mourn you lil angel that is in heaven now.... I gave bith at 26weeks... she was here for only 3days, it broke my heart. But wanted to  try again after 2weeks.... I was stil in mourning but I just realy wanted a baby again.... the dr said wait 3 months, we struggled to get pregnant the first time so I did not want to wait.... and now 2years later im pregnant again with a baby girl, 36weeks now and I still think about and miss my lil angel allot. If you feel your ready then go fot it, bit just remember to give you body time and get in shape mentally to make sure that u can handle everything..... good luck

I know your pain and deeply feel sorry for your loss. My son died when he was 7 days old. Going through my grieving process, I too wanted to try again right away. It was like I needed to be pregnant and have a baby again. The loss of my son was a great deal of pain that I had to learn to live with in my own way. I did not get pregnant, nor did I try, right away and now I'm glad. After having a child, you should wait for your body to get back to normal before trying again. At least 6 months to a year. Give yourself time to grieve. Again, I'm so sorry for the loss of your little angel.

People can say to wait, however I miscarried July 4th. I guess I started to ovulate a week after because I got pregnant right away!!! Now I am 27 weeks pregnant.

Miscarrying broke my heart I could only imagine going through actual birth.

This pregnancy, I'm healthy, so is the baby. If your bodies ready, it will allow you to get pregnant.

Just my opinion, I would wait at least 3 to 6 months before trying again. Give yourself time to mourn the loss. Trying too soon could have adverse effects on your mental health. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and I thought about trying right after the loss and I am actually very happy I waited. I feel if I had tried too soon that I would be more depressed about the child I lost than happy about the child I would have ended up having because I feel I would have felt more like I was having someone missing than someone there also post part um depression is real and you could end up having it and just make things harder. We lost our baby in 2012 and started trying again in 2014. Now due in 2015 with a baby girl and I feel it was a good thing I waited.

Omg i am so sorry for your loss. i would wait longer hunny your body needs more time to repair itself, i would be afraid for you trying again and your body not being ready and rejecting or the chance of loosing another  child. I would sit and talk to your doctor and see what he or she says and and what they recommend. .. keep your head up darling

I'm so sorry for your loss, stay strong. If you and ur partner are ready to try again so soon and the dr gives you the ok that's on you, just make sure you are ok emotionally before you have to deal with the emotional role coaster of pregnancy again. Much love to u and yours. Good luck.

After a miscarriage they usually suggest 3 months don't they.  So maybe at least that.
