hospital packing ??

When did everyone start packing their hospital bags for mommy , baby & daddy ?? & what did yal bring for all 3 ?? I'm 29 weeks & I just want too be ready since my son could come unexpectedly or on time , either way I jus wanna be ready !!

I just started packing my bag (not finished), but the baby's bag is done, my husbands I didnt even start. I'm 31+5.

Im 32 weeks and just packed my bags. I'm taking my own pillow and blanket. An air matress for my husband so he doesn't have to sleep in a chair. My bag has (2) pairs of pj's, house shoes, panties, a comfy outfit to go home in, (2) towels, a pair of cheap flip flops to wear in the shower. It grosses me out thinking about all the funk that's been in that shower and my bare feet touching it LoL!  Nipple cream, breast pads, (2) nursing bras, all my toiletries, and a phone charger & iPad. I packed (2) outfits for baby (2) blankets (2) socks and wipes cause my hospital doesn't provide them, and car seat.

I like to pack the least amount so I am just using hospital gowns and such and baby will stay in hospital clothes until we leave most likely. It also depends if your breastfeeding or not. I have stuff to occupy me because labor can be long and boring and I have to stay in the hospital for 2 nights for policy. For the baby I have wipes and diapers listed but I just have the diaper bag completely ready for outings so I dont need to change things up afterwards.

For me: toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, wash cloth, hair brush, hair ties, lanolin, nursing pads, pads, going home clothes, phone charger, phone, head phones, tablet, tablet charger, cards, book, towel (my last pregnancy the OB recommended I bring my own because they have small towels for the hospital), cash/change (vending machine), make up, deodorant, and wallet.

For hubby: Phone charger, shampoo/body wash, towel, razor, shaving cream, head phones, book, clothes, phone, and deodorant.

Baby: Car seat, outfit (size and weather options), diapers, wipes, first aid kit, blanket, binkies, and socks.

I had mine, baby, and boyfriend packed by 30weeks, there no real good time to have them pack but you really never know when baby going to come I liked to be ready! Also call the hospital and find out what they provide for you... Because I over packed and we honestly just had to much stuff there!

I have had my water brake at 32 weeks so it's never to early to pack all baby needs is two sets of cloths blanket and car seat most hospitals will have everything else I would check with them now and see what they offer now on to mommy list check with the hospital some have pads and panties but I hate them after the first day I took fuzzy pj pants for when people showed up house cost was great for breast feeding with company in the room I ended up with a c-section with my third child so I tell women to pack to be there for three days just in case I take soaps lotions brush coins for snack machine reminder list of who to call my pillow
