how can i help my contractions speed up?

Got swept again today 2x. First by the med student and then again by the dr. Contractions are coming about an hr apart since about 430. What do you ladies recommend to help speed it up. Its to late and cold now to go for a walk. Should i keep moving or try and get some sleep? So excited baby will be here Friday for sure if not tonight!!

Contractions stopped completely last night, so here i am today doing some cleaning and gunna take the kiddo for a walk as soon as the sun comes out. The hubs is super NOT comfortable with sex and outright refuses lol. I just want babe naturally without induction friday. Doctor recommended it because im already 4cm and have a 1hr drive to the hospital! Keep thinking positive labor thoughts for me lol

Not sure, I have been having contractions since yesterday at 30 minutes apart, today they are 7-10, i started mine without a sweep and am worried that they will go away! They are getting more painful but still not any closer together.  I have a Dr. appointment thursday for my 41 week appointment, so I am hoping that something is going on!!

I recommend getting sleep. That's what I did and slept through almost all of early labor and was very ready to go for the rest of labor. If you don't think you can and want to speed thing up try bouncing on a birthing/workout ball if you have one.
