All of this was really helpful. Thank you. Its funny how when you first get pregnant you imagine labor or I did anyway as the first time you experience contractions or feeling off..I didn't expect so many contractions beforehand that were false alarms. I didn't expect so many false alarms period. Its hard for me not to overthink it. I guess ill know or have some clue when d day is here.
When my contractions were 10min apart and kept getting stronger and more painful and when changing how i was sitting standing or walking and sipping on ice water didnt stop contractions it just made them worse. Sometimes moving different possitions can stop false labor. I was told not to go in unless they are so strong i cant talk
I knew cause the pain made me cry it was so bad.. having to grab the walls as I walked because the pain is different... I never believed them when they said you'll just know.... but if its true labor... you'll know
I had terrible contractions for a week before I went into labor. The morning I was actually in labor I didn't know until I got up and thought I urinated in the bed. My water had broke and it was a very slow trickle. I had no choice but to go to the hospital to deliver. I wish I knew how far apart my contractions were but I couldn't feel them on labor day.
With my last pregnancy i had contractions every night, weeks b4 my labor. I had no pain just a lot of tightening...when i actually went into labor my contractions increased in pain and in freguency. From every 45mins to 2mins apart. With my first i didnt have a clue, my water bag broke with no pain or contractions. Once you go into actual labor you will know one way or the other.
