This was my issue with my first baby. Best way to describe labor is think about how you feel with the Braxton Hicks contractions. They tighten your stomach and you feel uncomfortable and slow. Well that is what the real things feel like at first. After the real ones start than pains can start at any moment. The pains can originate in either your back or the front and feel like menstrual cramps. The closer you get to GO-TIME the closer the contractions will feel and the pain will become stronger. Your water breaking will be the means to the end, sometimes. After your water breaks than the pain will become even stronger than before. This is when most women say they want the epidural or the IV pain reliever. My second child gave me a completely different experience altogether. My second one made my water leak at 36 weeks. Good luck momma and I'm here if you have any questions.
Also if you have lots of back pain and pressure. That's what I had when I went into labor. I didn't feel the usual contractions. It was more of a incredible constant back pain and tons of pressure. Once I was in the monitor at the hospital they told me I was contracting and strong every 5-6 min . I didn't even feel it and I wouldn't have known but the pain was beyond incredible and that's what send me in
Contractions that can be timed ask ur doc but most use the 1 min contractions every 5 min for 1 hr!
