If you feel comfortable enough to work out do it.. I wouldn't go Ninja warrior on the gym but cardio shoukd be fine immediately.... I think after your 6 week appt your Dr will give you the ok to kill it again
I heard about 6-8 weeks depending on if you had a c-section or not. Definitely start off slowly and buildup to beast mode to avoid injury!
I just asked my Dr this question for the second time, just to be safe, and he told me that women who work out throughout their pregnancy and have a healthy vaginal birth can start working out within a week after delivery. You just have to start slow, like cardio, low weights, and such. I suggest you ask your Dr.
I started walking and light exercises 2 weeks after my kids but doctor gives the ok to do the hardcore stuff 6 weeks after but being fit is 80% of what you eat and 20% exercise so lotsof fruits and veggies and protein :-)
I'd personally wait until the six WK. Check up for the ok but i guess.it depends.on how you feel.
