how long can I leave it like this???

I asked my age group but I'm not sure of they will know...
I found out thursday I have a molar pregnancy.  I am over 11 weeks pregnant. My doctor is sending me to a specialist 3 hours away. She wanted me to have the surgery Thursday night or friday. But the specialist already had surgery planned with other patients.
I go Monday to talk to them but was informed we won't do surgery that day.
But my question is how long can I leave  the pregnancy??
I would like to do surgery asap. But I think the doctor is very busy.

Just the two types complete and partial. And don't read all of the negative. The group i am a part of on Facebook there are sooooo many women that it went smoothly for. But complete is usually the grape clusters and there never was a baby and partial is just not a viable baby (too many chromosomes). Which is what i had.

Thank you
I need to look up a complete molar pregnancy.  I haven't looked into the different kinds.

Sounds like a complete molar then. So sorry you have to go through rhis especially when there are so many people that will NOT understand. If you have a Facebook profile there are a couple of groups for us with so many helpful women that HAVE been through this too.  But there is light at the end of the tunnel and God only lets this happen to those that he knows are strong enough to pull through it in the end.

No I actually had a ultrasound at 5 weeks and 3 days went to the er for bleeding. All they could see was a sac. Said it was a threatened miscarriage,  to rest not do anything and call my doctor.
I called but they said just to stay on bed rest and they will see me April 28th. When I was 8 and a half weeks I went to the er again for heavier bleeding. No ultrasound. Said hcg was good. Cervix was closed was a threatened miscarriage.  Back on bed rest and pelvic rest. I called my doctor the next sat which was a Monday and told her. She got me in at 9 weeks. Said everything seemed fine and just to relax and we will see what happens. A week after that I started bleeding brown blood for a whole week. I called her and she told me to come back in. They did a ultrasound
(on my stomach, not sure what it's called)
Said I was going through a miscarriage right now.  She told me to make a doctor appt for the next week to check how things were going. I went back last Thursday.  She did blood work and said my hcg levels were actually higher than last visit and wanted to do another ultrasound to see what's going on this time they did a vaginal ultrasound and all you could see is what looked like grapes. Which I didn't know at the time what that was.
I went and seen my doctor right after and she explained what it was.
But I've been bleeding on and off since 5 weeks. I'm soon to be 12 weeks.

It depends on if it is causing you to get sick and how soon you want to try. It will be 6 months to a year AFTER you reach negative unless you are in the UK. Seems like the wait is 3 months over there. I never got sick with mine and mine was found early (7.5 weeks) so I went to negative quick. Did you ever get to see a baby or was this your first ultrasound?

Thank you. I was worried about how long I could leave it.

It won't hurt to go too much longer but will take a good bit longer for your hcg to fall back to negative because it is more than doubling at that point. My doc was very sure about getting mine done within 3 days of finding out. So sorry you are experiencing this. It only happens to one out of about 1500 women but stay strong. I am 8 weeks pregnant now following my 6 month wait time and it was not an easy process. If it's a partial the wait time is a bit shorter than for a complete but I have been there and I'm here if you need to talk.
