Wait... your telling me because your VJ might not go back to "normal" right away you would opt for a surgery that takes longer to fully heal? It's really not that bad. I had minor tears and stiches. It burns to hell when you have to pee. But I think my Lady is in tip-top shape. This time around I will be practicing perianal massage.
Had no tearing with my first. Recovery wasn't bad. Really just had to wait to quit bleeding. Everything was right back to normal for me
I also breastfed. I should have said spotted until 9 weeks. It was I only like a period for the first week or 2. I'm hoping with this baby I'll bleed for less time.
Luckily I didn't bleed at all jus spotted a bleed everything out thru labor I guess. I also breadtfeed so didn't hv no period or bleeding
Vaginal or c section, you're supposed to wait 6 weeks because of your healing uterus. Having sex too early can lead to an infection. Every woman is different and their body's heal faster than other's. I bled for almost 9 weeks after giving birth. Some women bleed for a much shorter period of time.
Tore with my first, waited 4 weeks. No tearing with 2 or 3, Waited 2 weeks.
I had tearing and stiches had sex mayb 2wks later w my first
I had a 9lb baby, totally natural med-free birth, no tearing or damage (due to proper positioning and excellent perineal care by my midwife) and we were able to (gently and well protected) resume intercourse about 3 weeks later. I would never ever opt for major surgery for the sake of convenience - the risks involved are much higher.
1 stitch. And sex 5wks after. Though it felt different and it took along time for me to climax again tmi. I know but heads up that's normal apparently
I had my daughter naturally, she was 9.3. No tearing or anything. It's been 8 days and I feel completely back to normal.
I had an 8lb baby and tore a little with stitches. Had sex after 2 weeks. Hubbie says it feels even better now after giving birth. A vaginal birth is always easier to heal from, emotionally and physically than a c-section.
I had sex less then 2 weeks after with my second (no tearing). With my first it was probably around 10wks after ( lots of tearing and stitches)
2 weeks after a csec is what my dr office said. Just depends on ur pain.
It all depends on your body. it took me 6wks. Dont worry about your lady parts, natural birth is how it should be unless there are complications. You will go back to normal.
You should research the difference between the baby going through the birth canel and having a c-section. If it is possible for you to have a natural birth that would be the best way.
It's better to go for natural with episiotomy if necessary. Tearing is terrible and c-section is after all an operation and therefore take longer to heal. After natural birth and stitches healed... The lady parts get back to normal and being with your hubby will be just as before :)
Have the same fear as u dear and more, ive decided on a csection eventhough it takes a bit longer to heal..
My doctor did not do an episiotomy and I ripped pretty bad. 45 mins worth of stitches. Took me a good 2 months to feel somewhat normal down below! Good luck!
I had an episiotomy and had a lot of stitches.
It took 5 weeks for them to dissolve and heal.
Had sex at the 5 week mark.
I had naturally but due to my baby big head lol 11 yrs ago they had to cut my stuff a little bit they told me 4-6 weeks but i was so nervous i waited 2months.. so idk about the c section though..
