How long do u hav to wait to get pregnant after having an emergency c section? Iv heard loads of different answers. Xx

I'm scheduled for a c-section next week. My OB said we'd need to wait at least a year before TTC again. I think some of the time frame depends on how quickly and well you recover throughout.

I had an emergency section in May, my midwife said for any section, they woulod recommend 12-18 months for falling pregnant again, otherwise you risk uterine rupture, x

Thats what my lil girl would be if i were to get pregnant again nxt june. We want them to be close together in age growing up. Hope your pregnancy is going great x

I've Read As Long As 18 Months In An Article And Varying Other Numbers, Too. I Am Now Pregnant With My Second Child And Had An Emergency C-section. My Son Was 10 Months Old When I Got Pregnant. The Doc Didn't Say Anything Against It When I Went For My Initial Check. I'm Now Going On 24 Weeks And Everything Is Going Very Well This pregnancy. My Doc And I Also Discussed The Options For Giving Birth This Time And She Gave Me The Option Of Trying A VBAC or Doing A Planned c-section. I Am Doing A C-section Again...Just A Personal Preference.
