The average is 25-35 lbs. You're at started at 150 but how tall are you? Take that into account too. Probably check with your doc to see what they think is the right goal for you:)
You should be weighed at every appointment. The Dr looks at everything if he or she has said nothing about your weight gain then there shouldn't be any worries. I was 156 prepregnancy but list 7lbs the first trimester didn't gain it back till I hit 24 weeks. I am now at 166 at 31weeks. I'm 5'6 tall
With my first pregnancy I was 150 at the start and the dr told me he wanted me to gain 50 lbs I thought he was nuts and didn't even think it was possible but when I went in to have my son I weighed 205 and the dr was happy and baby was 7 lbs 11 oz
With my first son I gain 73lbs lol but how I'm pregnant again with my second baby and I'm 34+5 today and I only gain 23 lbs so far
I was 198lbs and hospital said I should I put on no more then 20lbs, however my ob doesn't really care too much about my weight. Second baby so he's known me a long time and said I have a very low risk of GD.
I was 112 when I started I'm 150 now at 39 wks6days. Everyone's different in weight gain. People who are already overweight should gain less
I started at 150 too and am 5'8" I am almost 29 wks and have gained 21lbs..or at least did at the last visit...I'm sure I'm up from that -_-
And my doctor is all over me about the weight gain too!! I have no GD. No complications either. It makes me paranoid and I dread visits.
