Have u tried nipple stimulation? It mimics breastfeeding which lets off oxytocin which is linked to uterine contractions. Evening Primrose has not been proven to start labor, but the fatty acids can assist in lubrication that can lessen tears. If u haven't done raspberry red leaf tea definitely start that. If ur body isn't ready it won't start labor, but it strengthens ur uterus muscles like exercise. It also has essential vitamins for you &baby. Increases blood flow, decreases hemorrhaging and blood loss, decreases uterine pain, decreases duration of labor. Also great after labor to contract uterus back & increase milk production. Hope that helps!

You are well within your right to want to get this moving. With my first child I was eating some chicken tikka masala (spicy Indian food) when my water broke at 36 weeks. I wasn't trying but it happened so now, when anyone asks, I suggest spicy foods. Happy Labor Day to you (soon enough). :-)
