Changing your position, hydration and relaxation should stop them. If they don't stop you might be in real early labor. If your worried go into L&D worst case they monitor you for a few hours and send you home.. upside you get to relax and listen to your baby's heartbeat the whole time..
Yes I am not dilating and the nurse said they gave me a shot to ease the contractions so I don't know. My bath tub is so small I really can't relax in it..
If a bath is out of the question you could use a warm wet towel on your belly to help you relax. I get them a lot too (32weeks) but I'm not dilated either. Do you notice if anything triggers them? Dr told me to just try and avoid the things that seem to be triggers. Thats getting harder tho since more n more seem to be triggers.
They don't give shots for just Braxton Hicks. Those always go away with hydration and rest. Are you sure you aren't in labor?
My midwife says a bath and a gravol or benedryl. Get your body to relax and they should slow down. Good luck.
