husband

So my husband won't touch my belly when the baby moves. He says it's too early to feel it move, but I can feel like when I touch my belly. It kind of upsets me that he won't even humor me. I'm 18 1/2 weeks. Anyone else's hubs act like this?

My boyfriend only feels when I grab his hand and place it on my belly. And when I tell him to look because it looks like my belly is jumping like a fish out of water he looks for a second and returns ro watching TV. It still bothers me. Its like he doesnt care. I know he does but just humor me like you said and act like you as excited as me at the moment.

Thanks ladies. I guess I just feel like he would be more excited to even try to feel the baby. You know? Oh well. Hopefully as the baby and I grow he will be more excited to touch it. He's a great guy and I know he is so excited he tells everyone we see, when we are out there is not one person in the room ego didn't know we are pregnant.  So I guess I shouldn't be too hard on him...

My husband was freaked out and said its just creepy and weird, this was when he first felt her move but then he got used to it and gets excited when the baby moves and likes seeing and touching my belly. It takes time for some men to get used to baby movement. so just give it some time :)

Ya you are feeling it from inside and out so you have more of an idea whay it feels like and when he moves. Mine is kind of the same...he gets annoyed when I'm like wow hes moving a lot feel and then he feels and baby stops!! I think hes jealous he cant experience the baby moving like I do!! He gets dissapointed when he feels and feels nothing! And just remember men dont have the bond with the baby til they are born most of the time.

Thanks. Yeah he's really excited about the baby and I thought he would want to feel it. I'm hoping he will at least try to feel it once!

My hubby does not like it, at all.  I think he felt our first move like once.  He says it creeps him out.  It bothered me at first, and I thought there was something wrong.  But its just something he has no intrest in.  It helps that I know he's an awesome dad and crazy in love with all his babies.  We have 3.
