I have it all the time not just when pregnant, you need to go to your doc and get medication, your doctor should keep a close eye on your levels because it can cause complications, I'm Irish so I don't really kno how yer health care system works but I go to my doc every 3 weeks to get it checked ,

If you're interested in natural ways to deal with hypothyroidism, I recommend wellnessmama. It's a great blog. You can easily search things on there and she had several posts about how to heal your thyroid. One of my friends had been following some of her advice and seen improvement. Definitely not telling you not to talk to a doctor but maybe check out what she has to say as well.

It can cause development problems for baby and miscarriage as well as problems for u like sleeping and excessive weight gain. I had it with my first son doc put me on levothyroxin* and he's a very healthy n happy 22 months.  I have it with this one too and just recently had it bumped up. It ***** because I have to take that particular med on an empty stomach and can't eat for an hr afterwards but if thats what I gotta do thats what I gotta do. Both times I started meds at about 8weeks pregnant. If ur doc says u have it and doesn't make any adjustments ask about but it might be subclinical or almost in range
