i am so scared right now. 4am in terrible pain

Ive been having bad cramping for a week. The er did bloodwork and ultrasound. Hcg level was 1166 but nothing showed on the transvaginal u/s. They sent me home with no explanation other than potential miscarriage which my obgyn disagreed with today without running any tests. So here i am wide awake at 4am. I have a blinding headache and really painful intermittent cramping that leaves me breathless and shaking during the episode. Im severely nauseated despite the 8mg zofran im taking. I know this isnt normal. Im really scared that  something horrible is happening. Ill called my 24 hour nurse line and was advised to take tylenol, drink water and apply a heating pad and if my symptoms dont start improving to go back to the er. I dont know what to do. If i should wait a few hours or go now. My bf is asleep and id hate to wake him if the advice i was given ends up helping. If anyone is awake and sees this id be grateful for input. Never been pregnant before and i dont know what to do

Well said BambinoMiracle! You're in my prayers mama. Hold your head high and don't listen to the judgemental know it alls. Try to be positive. You get back what you put out into the universe. Try not to read too much online. Webmd stuff can over exaggerate and sound scary. Just breathe and know you are doing what you need to do. Finding answers and taking care of your body. We're all rooting for you! The judgemental mommies don't count :P

I agree with country girl. You have a positive pregnancy blood test - you can totally be on this forum! If anyone shouldn't be it's the women asking if they are pregnant lol. I don't think we should be so judgemental. I like yourself, have a colorful medical chart also. I am 12 weeks 2 days pregnant. This forum is for pregnant women, you have every right to be on here and ask for support just like the rest of us. It is not our place to judge you or anyone regarding anxiety, etc. Best of luck to you. I would recommend to treat this as if it were a pregnancy in order to take the necessary precautions to keep that baby safe, if in fact this isn't an ectopic pregnancy. Work with the doctors and understand that something is going on that is different, and sometimes it can be frustrating and scary while you go through the process of finding out what is going on. Bottom line, right now and only speaking right now, you have a positive blood test. Focus on the facts at hand. I'll keep you in my prayers. God bless. :)

Back from the er. My hormone levels surpassed 2500 and nothing is visible and my uterus isnt thickening? I have a follow up appt tomorrow for one more ultrasound with my doctor but i have no answers for my excruciating pain. My crohns does not seem to be the cause. I also got a rhogam shot because of my negative blood type which i got when i miscarried. So i dont know if they assume im going to miscarry or what. Im so frustrated.

If youve looked through my posts im normally in the anxiety and Gi forums. I did tell my dr about the promethazine but the levels are higher than what promethazine causes and im on zofran now instead and still positive. Im going back to the er today. No one has checked my crohns. I just keep getting told to go different places. I went to my obgyn at 1 and was told to go back to the er by the nurse practicioner i saw. I wish i was making this up. Ive been on medhelp for years and had only used this forum prior to miscarrying. I guess i didnt find it relevant because i was barely 6 weeks and had no pain like i do now. Im really just here because im scared and dont know whats happening. I figured this forum would shed light on the possibilities of whats happening.
