I'm being induce February 9th. And I was thinking of getting impalon vs. Getting my tubes tied...

Anyone who has impalon?

Implanon was terrible for me!! I gained 50 pounds in 7 months! When they took it out of my arm it had moved so much that they had to perform minor surgery to get it out! Since it was removed my periods have been super heavy and insanely painful. I will never use a long term birth control again!!

Thanks ladies. I'm just scared getting my tubes tied just health problems my doctor says impalon is the safest way to go . She says well train doing the impalon would be able to breast feed. My husband wants to get neutered lol I'm fine with that!

I had the implanon now its nexplanon I loved it. Moody for the first couple weeks. I had no periods. It is what I will do again after I deliver. My sister also got it now to.

I had the implanon and stil was able to nurse my baby. It was only one of the few choices available that was safe to use while breastfeeding.

I had it and when I decided to get it removed due to complications it was stuck.... I had to be cut open 3 times for them to finally get it out. But that Was just my experience :/

I'm in the exact situation. My sister has the impalon, she really likes it. She recommended it to me. If you plan to breastfeed though, you won't be able to once the impalon is in. Good luck in your decision.
