insurance need answer

I'm currently on medicaid in my state I'm also married my husband is offered insurance but not me thru his company, now my dad has started work at a new company and he said that with me pregnant and married he can still get me covered thru his my concern is if he does will I loose my medicaid because it will take a couple of months to go into affect and as of now I don't have to pay for anything pregnancy related but I will be dropped from my medicaid once the baby is born luckily the baby can be on medicaid once it's here I don't what to do my husband and I can't pay out of pocket if I get dropped from medicaid right now but  getting covered by my dad's will help a lot next year any advice?

I'll only be aloud on medicaid a month after the baby it born In my state that's why I think it would be good to be on my dads because the baby is due november so Jan.  I'll have to have something it just ***** my husband can't get me on his because they don't cover spouse or family just employees

I'm not sure but if I can I would like to stay on medicaid because I have to take medications and with medicaid I don't pay but insurance it is still pretty pricey my husband is skeptic about him adding me just yet

You should be covered by medicaid even after the baby is born. I was on PAC in Maryland and they were going to switch to Medicaid anyway in January.

Did your dad call to make sure that they'd cover your pregnancy expenses? By law they have to cover you til 26,but they aren't required to cover pregnancy expenses.
