6 weeks and went to the ER

Yesterday i went to the ER..i was spotting and.cramping...not severe but just as if my cycle was about to start..long story short, the doc said the baby looked perfect and where its supposed to be and they did hear a heartbeat :) however, he already put me on bedrest for 5 days. He said as of now its just 50/50 chance. I am a type of person who doesnt like to sit still. the day before i was spotting i was running errands all day and doing lots of laundry. I live on the 2nd story of an apartment so i was up and down the stairs all day. My mom told me that the baby is a fighter and wants to be here but my body is tellin me i need to slow it down. any advice at all? Im scared when i go back to work because im on my feet 95% of the time and its a fast paced job but i need to work after my 5 day bed rest. Basically has anyone else had to go on bedrest this early in their pregnancy?

Depending on what your job is exactly and what it entails your dr might put you on light duty for a bit if they think your job is too dangerous for you to be doing while pregnant. It happened with my first im on #2 now lol i was a firefighter when i was pregnant with #1. Best of luck!
P.s. I also HATE sitting still and there was never much of anything to do for light duty around the station besides sweep and the guys always took the broom away from me and told me to go sit down and they would take care of it! Lol most gentlemanly thing theyve ever done wixh threw me for a loop considering i was aways just one of the guys. Lol
