I also lost weight, and I was throwing up a lot...like twelve times a day a lot. But I'm doing a no medication pregnancy so I just tried to stay hydrated as best as I could.  I'm 18+5 now and I've just started gaining.  I've gained approximately 4 lbs (from initial weight) now.

I lost weight up until last week.  I gained some back this week.  It wasn't for morning sickness, but the ice cream I so loved before doesn't interest me any more.  Most of the sweet things I craved before being pregnant just don't seem all that appealing any more.  I was scared at my first appointment, and then the doctor couldn't find the heartbeat.  I was a bit nervous but tried not to show it.  He said, "Good news is you get an ultrasound."  As soon as the ultrasound wand touched my belly you could see a little squirming alien-looking baby.  Try not to worry too much... but I know it can be difficult not to.

I'm 16+4wks and during the first two months I lost 12 pounds because of morning sickness. They prescribed me zofran and really helped. I was also scared that the baby wasnt growing, but they said baby is OK. Now Im waiting for my 20 week ultrasound to confirm healthy baby is coming.

Are you throwing up alot?  That would be the reason I would guess for weight loss.  I am on a zofran pump to ease nausea and prevent weight loss from throwing up.   I am also 10 weeks.   I really think you should contact your doctor now and tell them your concerns so they can decide if they should be seen sooner.
