is it bad to eat too much pickles while being pregnant

I talked to my mom today and she told me its not good to eat to much pickles i ate like 4 pickles

Therr so good I just hope my baby doesn't come out doing a little sour face lol

The salt content would be my only concern, but I've been battling swelling in my feet & ankles for the last few weeks, so salt is always on my mind these days!

I would also think it has to do with the high levels of salt. I'm sure you'll be ok as long as your other foods have little to no salt and you watch your daily value intake so you later don't have any health complications during your pregnancy.

I been craving the pickles for a while and I've been eating them and I just can't stop eating them lol

Lol Nah it's fine I eat a jar in a day .. my fridge literally has 8 jars of spear pickles lol it ***** cause even though I wanna eat them all the time my hubby HATES pickles and when i mean hate I mean he can smell them on my breath even after hours of eatting them and even after I brush my teeth and use mouth wash

You're fine...if you have high blood pressure they may want you to watch your sodium intake but other than that pickles are fine! My first trimester I had such bad morning sickness and pickles was one of the only things I wanted to eat. I must've eaten like 6 full jars.
