You can use a heating pad as long as you keep it on low

You can use a heating pad. Just use it on low setting. It will help. I use one all the time, im 37 weeks. I also used one with my daughter and she isa perfectly healthy 20 month old.

Labor usually includes cramping in the front too, sort of like period cramps.

Not sapose to use heating pad during pregnancy raises your body temp too much for baby just like not sapose to take to hot of bath ....warm bath should help some but just try to relax with pillows under your back and legs and feet up and try to rest ...I would go yet either I'm only 28 couple days till 29 weeks and I've been having bad cramping and back pains as well but dr said its prob just uterus growing ...so I tried relaxing and it helped still getnit now and then when I'm walking but dealing with it ...good luck
