when did doc check babys position? also opinion on name?

Im 38 weeks and doc has not checked babys position orsaid anything about it. But i can feel baby moving all different directions everyday so hopefully sshe'll get in position when the time comes?  Also what do you think about brianna rae? Thanks ladies!

Thanks ladies, think ill bring up and ask as u suggested i just assumed if they hadve checked they would have said something. But i know last tuesday they heartbeat which is usually at the bottom of my stomach was found way at the top this time.

My Dr said she could tell baby was head down just by looking at my belly.  I'm almost 35 wks, he hadn't dropped yet, and I'm hoping he will soon, cuz then I know it'll just be a matter of time before things start happening and I meet my lil boy.

My midwife only checked position at 31wks because I was certain baby was breech - atm at least, I can tell because most of the kicks are really low & she stretches out with her head under my ribs in the evening. Would think at 38wks they should have checked by now. As with kayjambaby, I'll be referred for a scan if still breech at 36wks & scheduled for a c-section if still at 37wks - because I'm rh-ve. Perhaps they've checked but you'd not realised, I'd ask at your next appt.

I'm 35wks and 6 days...just had an appointment,  group strep b test and to check my cervix...He stuck his fingers up there and told me the baby is head down.  So at your next appointment you should just ask about what position the baby is in.

My midwife has checked the position of little bump in every appointment. When I was 31 weeks baby was breach had my 34 weeks appointment today and my baby is facing down. She advised me that if he was still breach at 36 that's when I would be referred so maybe they are checking which way baby is facing with you but have not mentioned it because baby is facing the correct way maybe. Best ask at your next appointment

Beautiful name!  And I'm 32 weeks and see everyone post about their babies position, and i haven't found out yet either. .. kinda annoying. Hopefully your little girl gets in position, you're almost there!  Good luck and congrats; )
