With my first I planned to work till 36 weeks but unfortunately I made it to 32 weeks. I started feeling pain at work n I was admitted for 2 days because they thought I was contracting, but she didnt come till 2 days before her due date. Now im planning to work till 37 weeks so I have to wait and see because im constantly on my feet.

I am debating now. My first pregnancy I worked until the day my water broke. I don't want to be leaving work again and have that happen. so not cute. LOL.. My due date is the 15th I think this Friday will be my last day. There are things at home I need to do to prepare no pack and get the house clean there is some stuff that still needs a place. Our living room is cluttered with baby gear.

Due to having contractions when i was 30 weeks i got taken out if work. I had planned on working up until i had him prior to all that happening. Im 39 weeks now and let me just say that if i ever have another one im going on maternity leave the month before my due date. These past few weeks have been awful!!!! I know they say every pregnancy is different but i dont think i will be taking any chances! lol

I had a desk job and worked up to the day I had my first daughter at 41+2 days overdue. I was fine and I enjoyed working as it took my mind off being overdue. It also kept me out of the house/bed. I think unless you are doing something strenuous, there is no real reason (if you and lo are healthy) to go on leave before baby is born.

I really think that depends on the person and how she is feeling. I know some women who work up til the day she is due while others will go off early. Im due at the end of June and Im planning on going on mat leave beginning to middle of June.
