Ohh yea I dod some more thinking and reading everyones comments I think I am gonna pass on the tongue piercing:)
I've had my tongue pierced for about 2 years now, and it got so swollen and hurt so bad during the healing process I could barley even eat soft foods. I tried jello, mashed potatoes, even baby cereal, and it all hurt so bad that I just really didn't eat until it was healed. I just drank a lot of cold drinks and hot tea, I was able to eat ice cream and stuff like that tho as well. Then when it healed and I went to eat actual food, I kept biting it and stuff. I would totally wait until after the baby because it's a long process and you want to make sure you can eat while pregnant. It's like you have to train yourself how to eat all over again!
Just an fyi.... I had mine pierced 10 years ago when I was 17. I thought they looked really neat (but I also have a metallica tatoo)... I had no idea that they were associated with giving blow jobs. Not only was I appalled by that stigma, but there is nothing I hate doing more. It dug a divot at the top of my mouth that is just going away as of lately and it chipped a few of my teeth... maybe you should reconsider all together but definetely wait until after baby, if for nothing else, for your sanity. My body hated it and constantly tried to reject it and would start to close in the 10 minutes I'd take it out to clean it. I took it out after 6 months.
Ok thanks mommas I appreciate everything!:)
No one will pierce while your pregnant because of infections x
No reputable place will pierce while pregnant anyways. Just wait until after the baby as a present to yourself for making it through!
You should wait alot of places wont do it anyway when your preg as it takes longer to heal an higher risk of infection due to how long it takes to heal
Yes ypu should wait till after the bby is not safe
You really should wait til your babys born, your immune is low and you have higher risk of infection and it will most likely take longer to heal
If it became infected that might harm the baby! Our immune systems are low when pregnant to so I'd wait if I were you! :)
