am I the only one?

Am I the only one that doesn't plan on finding out the gender of my baby?  I didn't find out with my son and I thought it was an amazing experience.

My husband got to go out and tell everyone!

I mean it's a personal choice but I guess i'm surprised

I like the idea of being able to make plans specifically for this child so we're going to find out. I honestly don't think I could wait till afterwards, waiting till 20w has already been rough!

Nope we are not finding out either. We have a boy and girl already. We didn't find out with them either. I think its a lovely surprise at the end of all that hard work. But each to their own. I understand that people like to plan and prepare. X

Rite there with you we decided from day one to be surprised :) It's my first his third so we already have a boy that's 17 and a girl that will be 16 next week. The family has complained but we're having fun with it. The nursery is animals which is neutral and the search for clothing has been fun. Our daughter really wants a sister, but she's ok with being the girl I've always wanted too lol.
We're picking names as a family for both genders as well. Honestly at 32 weeks this has been an amazing experience bringing our family even closer and a step sibling bridging the  gap. I love receiving random name text from the kids :)

We aren't going to find out either. . We are gonna keep it a surprise! We are just gonna do the room in neutral colors and buy some neutral colored baby clothes at the beginning so it will work for a boy or a girl :)

I'm with you I don't want to know.  I want the surprise at the end after all this waiting & pain. I think it's a shame so many people find out but personal choice. ...

We aren't finding out. We already have one of each and got gender neutral carseat, stroller, pack n play, etc with our others so we could re use them.  I will just have newborn boy and girl clothes washed and ready for when we get back from the hospital.  I am sooo much more excited about the delivery because we don't know. It will make that day even more special :)

I'm like Luka. I have to plan everything. Especially since I'm high risk and my hubby doesn't want me working.... I have nothing else to do but clean and plan things. Plus my family medical history plus my own buts my baby at risk for some pretty major defects so knowing all that and the sex will help prepare us better just in case we end up raising a special needs child. :)
I think it's wonderful that you can wait. It makes it no less special when you find out. It's still exciting and my husband plans on bragging anyway. He shows off the pics every time we get a new ultrasound. Some of us just don't have the luxury of waiting like we want to though... technically we could.. but that would make us a bit less prepared than we really need to be.
