I've had friends smoke during the whole pregnancy. They say it helps with the nausea. I'm 420 friendly but not while I'm pregnant. I wouldn't risk CPS trying to get involved in my life. And I'm worried that it will effect the babies development and growth But to each their own.

Don't do it. If the child growing inside you isn't important enough to quit smoking pot (whatever your reasons) then you don't deserve to have that child. Period.

Oh geez here we go again on the whole pot issue and arguing like idiots behind a computer. Girl, do what your heart tells you is best. Doctors prescribe all kinds of "pregnancy safe" meds and everyone is okay with that but when a mother uses marijuana everyone jumps out of their pants. I really dont think its a big deal but if you do use it, vaporize it. Do not ever smoke anything due to deprivation of oxygen to the body. Good luck

My Dr said there is no proven facts that it actually harms the baby but CPS is involved the second you or the baby test positive. They will continue and invade your home and life for quite some time. I chose not to because I don't CPS in my life my babies life or in my home.

I have no issues at all with people smoking weed, but not while pregnant. Any kind of smoke, wether it be weed or cigarettes, deprives the baby of oxygen.

I think any drug is a risk some people can smoke pot any have normal babies some people smoke pot and baby come out with complications but they test your child for drugs at birth so be careful and in some states they are starting to test your urine at doctor visits

Are you serious? This is insane even to me..  I smoke when not pregnant BC of severe Anxiety... Every baby gets tested and now in my state they randomly check the mothers urine during the whole pregnancy. One dirty test and that's it cps will get Involved for the rest of the pregnancy afterwards and if you already have kids your screwed. You dont drink for 9 months(most of us don't anyways I'm sure some can't wait) pretty sure you can wait. Its not worth it.to me. My.kids are more.important than getting.high wether its for appetite or  not.

Smoking anything while pregnant is not a good thing in my mind at all! 9 months without a joint isn't that long of a sacrifice to help ensure baby has a absolutely safe, healthy and clean atmosphere to live and grow in

I am now 34 weeks pregnant and havent smoked since ive found out I was pregnant but the only reason I stopped was due to not wanting it to show up in my babys system

I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't do anything that would potentially harm my baby.
