I ended up having kidney surgery at 25weeks with my first because the stones were too large to pass. Now Im 32weeks with my second and i have passed 12 stones since 9weeks pregnant. Its miserable. I had to stop taking my prenatal vitamins because the calcium blocks my kidneys so they switched me to folic acid instead. I decreased my calcium intake. And don't eat alot of green vegetables since those have a tendency to cause stones.
You just gotta let the stones pass on there own. Once mine pass into my bladder i feel relieved. Passing the stones from my bladder out doesn't bother me its passing from my kidneys to my bladder that bother me the most.

I have had them since 10 wks, I'm now 36 weeks. I passed four and since around 24 weeks have one blocking urine flow from my kidneys to my bladder causing swelling and extreme pain. I have been on and off of pain killer s since the pain cause s pre mature labor and that is more risky.  The only advice I have is a heating pad, drink tons of water and orange juice and lemonade also lemon in your water. I know how you feel! And if it gets bad enough they can give you stronger than tylonel. Vicaden and percacet are perfectly fine.

Ive been told to eat fresh pine apple since it has a high amount of citric acid it will break down the stone and cure an infection. Good luck!

You have to drink a lot of water, and stay away from cranberry juice, and vitamin c, my doc told me those two are great for a UTI, but are bad for any kidney problems!  Heat does help, but moist heat.  Bath tubs and rice bags, the more your tubes from the kidneys can relax, the less the pain.  Also make someone rub your back.  I know it seems a long stretch but I lean against my fist where it hurts, it helps a ton!  They also say if you get a high grade essential oil, if you add a couple drops to your water, it is supposed to help break them up.  I know it is horrible, but good luck!
