labor contractions?

So Ive always had very high pain tolerance, and I cant ever tell if im having contractions or not. Sometimes I feel lots of pressure as my stomach tightens up, it also gets hard, but I cant tell if thats just the baby stretching as well. My doctor said my baby is already facing down with her head in my pelvis. Its also starting to (kind of) hurt minimally,  but likeni said my pain tolerance is always very high. I'm 38 weeks today, and cant tell if I should go tonlabor and delivery or not? I would really hate to go and be sent home.

Braxton Hicks... Real Contractions are easily identified and labor for me wasn't intense until i was already a 9 and contractions were less than a min apart. You'll know hun!

I have a high pain tolerence too. The key is to time them. If its coming frequently, like every 3-5 mins and last for about a min, I'd say ita time to call, but if its very sporadic its most likely braxton hicks.

I have a high pain tolerance too. But the two times I've had real contractions I knew they were real.

From what it sounds like, you're just having Braxton hicks. But you should time them and see if they become regular or increase in intensity or length.

I don't plan on going to the hospital till my contractions are at least 5 minutes apart.
