labor getting close,,

been slowly loosing mucus plug all day but itwas barley anything, there'snow like brownish discharge( very very small amount) and have had period like cramps all day also.. could i be getting close to labor.. trying not to get my hopes up lol im almost 39 weeks

Try walking if they get more painful and closer together it is contractions if they stay the same or stop its braxton hicks

When I started going into preterm labor last Friday I was losing mucus and had menstrual cramps, they said the cramps were contractions and to just time any cramps I got. The more they hurt the stronger the contractions are. Plus your belly should tighten up all over during them.

Try a nice warm bath. This will ease pain abit and can also help move things on at times. Good luck x

If the pain is increasing it sounds like early labor symptoms to me. But of course Im no doctor.

it might sound stuoid but idk if im contracting.. idk.what it feels like. theres times where its just lil cramps for abouy a few minutes but i layed down and now im getting.them there more painful and dont last that long.. this is my first baby so im clueless

Have u been contracting? At almost 39 weeks it very well could be the beginning. I have been loosing mine 2day, but no contracting. Hopefully soon!  Wish you well dear!
