labor or not?

Just woke up an hour ago and been having serious pain that starts in my back and moves to the front gradually getting stronger and giving me urge to push. I can't talk through them it takes everythingto ffocus breathing. Just not sure if they are regular or not. I tried contraction timer and it says they are averaging about 3 minutes apart and lasting average of a minute. Not sure if I should call or wait no matter whether I change position or activity they aren't stopping.

I'd probably go back to l&d. Sometimes you can progress quickly. While laboring in the hospital I was 4 cm, it took me a while to get there with being induced. They told me, my baby's surgeon, and the nicu staff it would still be a few hours before anything happened. I pushed my son out only 30 minutes later. Just saying, listen to your body. If contractions are getting stronger and are remaining constant or getting more frequent, they shouldn't turn you away.

A nice hot bath will ease the pain and can bring you on further and maybe keep walking about. Up and down your stairs. Gravity works wonders.x

Hang in there sweetie, unfortunately waiting is the toughest part in the beginning. I definitely feel you though, been going through the same thing the past few days, but I know it's not consistent enough so I don't even bother going to the hospital. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.

Got discharged after 2 hours even though contractions are very strong and regular, they said until I'm 5-6cm it's false labor. To come home eat, shower, walk, and sleep while I wait it out. I'm in too much pain to sleep. Thankfully I have zofran so I was able to eat but I can barely walk to bathroom much less take a walk. How in the world am I supposed to know when I'm 5-6cm. Ugh I just want to cry and they said if they get stronger in meantime call my doctor to make appt. Idk how I can speed this up on my own.

Omg I hate this hospital. I wish I was up to the hour drive to other hospital. This nurse says 37 weeks is too early and that my baby hasn't dropped and I'm 1cm dilated 0% effaced. He been fully engaged weeks now and I was just 3cm 60% effaced Monday. I hope my doctor comes before they send me home. Ugh!

37 weeks exactly. I'm about to just go to l&d now as soon as my husband is ready. Hope they don't send me home like this.
